Engineer Muminu Badmus currently serves as the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Lagos Water Corporation (LWC). Since assumption of duty in Lagos Water Corporation, he has introduced some innovations towards ensuring good service delivery in water production and supply in the State. He is also championing the organisational effort to develop and implement a plan that will restore production capacity, improve service delivering, and build customer trust in the state’s water utility.
He is a thirty-year veteran of the engineering profession and a highly proficient mechanical engineer. He is a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia and Howard University.
Prior to joining LWC in October 2015, Badmus was a senior manager with the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority, aka DC Water. At DC Water, Badmus supervised the operations and maintenance activities of the water and sewer system, the same system that services the White House and other parts of Washington DC. He was also responsible for the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) which invested millions of dollars to construction and maintenance projects for the District of Columbia (DC) water and wastewater authority. He joined DC Water in 1990 after a five-year stint with Prince William County Government in the state of Virginia
